History in their back yard!

Two Posts ago i said i was going to show you some pictures i thought were pretty cool- well, Jess just bought a house. she told me that they have history in their backyard and that there are gravestones back there- i seriously thought there were LITTLE ones.

The story goes that there is a family plot back there and there are babies buried there as well- i think it was the settlers of this lands plot. There is full blow head stones there. Many of the people in her neighborhood are creeped out by it, But Jess and i think its the coolest thing ever.

During the snow storm they had there about a month ago, one of their trees fell over, into this cemetary.. as you can see in one of the pictures, it fell on a head stone. Enjoy these pictures- i wonder what these people were like.. i think its awesome that they have this piece of history literally on the other side of their fence!!

...Seems to be Y.O.G.U.R.T!! This is what our fridge looks like After ONE grocery shopping trip- i kid you not, this MAY last us 2 wks! Lil Muffin would eat yogurt all day every day, or for every meal. I really think she's onto a growth spurt.. Its so funny with me that i had to share with you. Even worse.. i have to get my yogurt at 2 different places.. see i have to go to Kroger because the husband SWEARS that their yogurt tastes different and better .. What.ever- So, at this stage in our lives, our ugly apartment fridge has ONE level reserved for the yogurt- ((( That stainless steel fridge of ours in Storage is patiently waiting only 2.more.weeks for us to use it! )))

Last Weekend in Pictures

After my post on all of the Bad Happenings of our last Friday, we decided to make the best of our weekend in Greenville- cant let things like that get you down- Here is our weekend in pics.. only a few.. seriously, i weeded thru over a100 of them.. i'm sure you'll see more eventually because there are some i REALLY want to show you that i find absolutely cool- usually, i'm the one behind the camera.. but at dinner ( at Brixx- delish, and next to swoozies ( pink owl, seriously.. that store is a DREAM!), i had Jess take a pic of us. Isnt he just so handsome?! The spread for the shower- i did all food except pita bread and hummas. The lady i threw this with is an interior designer ( with J.P. Collections in Greenville ) she told me she would do the skewers. About 20 min BEFORE peeps start showing up, she tells me she just literally bought skewers and thought i was bringing the veggies to put on them! I called the husband and he picked up fruit. i improvised and made fruit kabobs instead with a cream cheese/marshmallow dip that was a HIT! NO FOOD WAS LEFT!

Before the shower, Jess took mini me for a mani and ran errands- this is the FIRST time they really bonded- and when we left she cried for hours because she wanted to stay. Sunday they made dinner together-

didnt want to bore with more pics.. but lemme tell you.. some of my FAVE are from after Midnight that night, and after a few GLASSES of wine.. we laughed so hard. And THESE are the memories that will last a lifetime.

Spring Break & The Masters!

There is pure CRAZINESS here as everyone gets ready for the Masters! As you drive closer to Augusta National, you see Many of the signs pictured below for golf traffic-

There are many of THESE little Club Cars parked out in front of businesses as their way of Welcoming the Masters here( Club Car is BASED out of Augusta!)- Its almost as if a holiday has hit. Im not lyin! The other day i drove by a house with a HUGE yellow and green bow with golf clubs tied to the mailbox by the box in an " X" shape- that's their way of welcoming everyone here-
Signs similar to this line streets- I have to get our dogs Medicine at a pharmacy RIGHT BY Augusta National- note to self.. NOT when the Masters is here ;)

This is our FIRST year here for the Masters and i'm learning more and more what a HUGE deal it is- Luke already has had his chance at a set of tickets.. which means there will be MANY chances in the future.. woot woot!!

I've been told of jobs for the Masters -- personally i wanted to be a golf cart girl.. WHAT COULD BE BETTER?! UNTIL i found out that THEY TAKE ALL OF YOUR TIPS! Now you tell me WHAT the fun in that is? ITS ALL ABOUT THE TIPS!!!!

I also hear that there is NO BUDGET at this golf course.. what they want, is what they get- They will go as far to the extremes as buying GREEN sandwich bags so that if somone drops their trash, you wont be able to see it on National TV- apparently, behind those BEAUTIFUL white fences and gates, there is a WHOLE.NEW.WORLD! ( I would hope so because its towards the end of town in the ghetto.. just sayin!)

I hear the Tuesday BEFORE the Masters, there is a HUGE concert, only 25 bucks a ticket- probably wont make it this year, but next?! If we're here, i'm there !!!

I WILL NOT be traveling anywhere near there for the next week- traffic is MAYHEM i hear.. in fact, the Husbands work just sent out a company wide email with streets to AVOID for the next week ;)

... If i did want some extra cash.. i could do taxi service out of my car.. what should i call it? ITS MONEY, PEOPLE!! ( i think THAT would be a blast!!!- me and my friend tearing up Augusta)

What can i do, but LAUGH?!

So Before treking out for our weekend, we decided we needed to take my car in ( the one bought a few months ago, used at that)- you see, when we drive, doesnt matter how fast or slow we go.. my car will start not shaking, but make a jerking feeling. the girls will make their voices loud so when the car jerks it makes their voice shake. Its funny, but ANNOYING that the car does that. So, the Honda was taken in this morning at 7:30- i get a call, expecting it to be alignment.. Oh but wait, not only do we need alignment, but the DIMWITS that owned the car before us let it go so long, that the tires are worn wrong..
So guess what ?! WE get to buy New tires today too..

But wait, there's more.. Cause things only happen in threes, right?! LOL- As the Husband was at Honda and i was doing my morning clean up and morning laundry, the washer makes this funk of a sound, as it was washing clothes. i open the washer to find it FULL of hot water, but its not spinning in the middle. I call the husband..


If you know me, it is in stressful times like these, i .... L.A.U.G.H... uh huh.. i mean, what else can you do? Laughter IS the best medicine!!! Did i mention all 4 of us are in an upcoming wedding, having to buy all the attire, buying gifts, and throwing a shower- and buying our house and moving in in TWO weeks.. God has a sense of humor doesnt he? The weekend can ONLY get better!!!

CHEERS! ( i think i'm permitted to a few drinks this weekend!)
