What can i do, but LAUGH?!

So Before treking out for our weekend, we decided we needed to take my car in ( the one bought a few months ago, used at that)- you see, when we drive, doesnt matter how fast or slow we go.. my car will start not shaking, but make a jerking feeling. the girls will make their voices loud so when the car jerks it makes their voice shake. Its funny, but ANNOYING that the car does that. So, the Honda was taken in this morning at 7:30- i get a call, expecting it to be alignment.. Oh but wait, not only do we need alignment, but the DIMWITS that owned the car before us let it go so long, that the tires are worn wrong..
So guess what ?! WE get to buy New tires today too..

But wait, there's more.. Cause things only happen in threes, right?! LOL- As the Husband was at Honda and i was doing my morning clean up and morning laundry, the washer makes this funk of a sound, as it was washing clothes. i open the washer to find it FULL of hot water, but its not spinning in the middle. I call the husband..


If you know me, it is in stressful times like these, i .... L.A.U.G.H... uh huh.. i mean, what else can you do? Laughter IS the best medicine!!! Did i mention all 4 of us are in an upcoming wedding, having to buy all the attire, buying gifts, and throwing a shower- and buying our house and moving in in TWO weeks.. God has a sense of humor doesnt he? The weekend can ONLY get better!!!

NEVER have i experienced the south in the Spring- seriously.. every day, it looks as though the pollen fairy has come by and dropped yellow pollen on everything. This morning as i left, the streets looked like they do when someone drives thru snow.. but its yellow POLLEN! i washed my car on Sunday, and THAT NIGHT there was pollen all over it. I hear the worst is yet to come!

I wanted to update everyone on my heart monitor and lil muffin's Ears-

I've been having some crazy feelings with my heart- like a fish flapping out of water, and what felt like panic attacks. I decided that since i have kids and the responsible thing would be to get it checked out, i would( Because if i found out MY DAD was having the same issues, i know i would email him and guilt trip him into how he needed to get checked out) Apparently i wasnt as crazy in the head as you or myself would've thought! i DO have extra heart beats- i CAN go on meds for this, but i decided that i would hold off until it got unbearable. i just wanted to have it documented. The Dr. Said this is what is causing me those feelings of shortness of breath and last week a major panic attack feeling. So.. all is well, they've tagged it and if need be, i can be on meds for it. ( i know, i know.. dad and mom youre SHOCKED i opted OUT of a med ;)

Now for lil Muffin- THIS.GIRL. HAS.HAD.NO.BREAKS on illness since moving here in July! She has caught almost everything and as of today has her 8th ear infection! i cant tell you how TIRED of the dr. office i am! we are on a FIRST NAME basis there, and for me.. that's annoying and embarrassing! Today, we were FINALLY referred to an ENT to get tubes put in the muffins ears. I am SUCH an advocate for them because my poor child has had 8 doses of anti -biotics and that's NOT SAFE for her.. i DO.NOT. want her body to get used to them for when she REALLY needs them. I will keep you posted on the tubes Date - every mother i have talked to out here about tubes has said they have changed their lives, and quite frankly i'm tired of my child being sick, and tugging at her ears all the time and being in pain.

Cheers to many healthy months to come- - Now the Health fairy can come and sprinkle some of her good health on us!!!

Let me set the scene for you- ANYTIME the husband leaves on a trip somewhere, Mini me gets to sleep in our bed with me. Its a special treat- ( i HATE listening to her grind her teeth 50 times at night, but know its building memories for her)

Well, the husband drove to NC this last weekend to meet up with his bro and nephew and hit up some baseball games and have a guys weekend. So, mini me was excited to stay up as late as she wanted and sleep in our bed. Sat night, i had to get up to take the dog potty at 1 am. I go to crawl back in bed and see this stuff ALL OVER mini me's back- i touch it.. its 3d.. ok.. i thought it was a rash but now i'm completely baffled.. i flip the bathroom light on and see.. .. . .

EVERY MOMS WORST NIGHTMARE! FREAKING MELTED HERSHEY KISSES EVERYWHERE! ALL OVER HER BACK, ARMS, SHEETS-- i'm angry.. but what can i do about it this early in the am?!

We wake up for church and the first thing i tell her is go run the bath and get in.. she looks at me bewildered due to having one BEFORE she went to bed the night before.. look at the sheets, i said. WHY on earth is there chocolate everywhere? and WHY would you sneek it in my bed ?!! Her response ?? ' I WAS STILL HUNGRY!!" .. now.. if THAT was the case, the food would have been eaten immediately and not forgot about.. uh.. no worries.. just ANOTHER load of laundry for mom to do.. heck, whats ONE more?

Making my bed yesterday, i noticed there was chocolate on the comforter.. so.. off to the dry cleaners we go with it.

Kids will ALWAYS bring craziness to your life!! But that's what we call "normal" in our lives ;)

The 27 year old Coat

Being a saver is not a quality of mine.. i mean.. really not. If i'm not using it, i give it away or trash it. My mother on the other hand.. well.. she saves.. a.lot! Seriously, she has so much from my childhood, amoungts so many other things. Awhile back, she pulled out some of my clothes from when i was a toddler- This baby pink peacoat being one of them.. and isnt it oh.so.cute?!

Its times like these i'm GLAD my mom is a saver- i dunno, i'm just freak out if i have clutter and in my weird mine i think if i save it, it will be clutter. Looking at this picture makes me think i need to hold on to more things for my girls to pass on to THEIR girls.

Ok, lets talk about me now.. the topic? Once again, the G.Y.M- the gym and i are a love hate. IT seems like such a hassle to get a toddler ready and take 2 hours out of your day to go there. Then you look in the mirror as youre trying on summer shorts, skirts and dresses and think: "oh yeah,,,, THATS why i love the gym". I took 3 weeks off due to our family being so sick. I started training this week with this guy who is OUTSTANDING! FINALLY i think i've met my old trainer's match ( except she's dear to my heart ;) He has been absolutely BRUTAL with training. No breaks, he wont take excuses- and so i sit here on a SAturday morning BARELY able to walk. every muscle on my body aches- and the dreaded abs? oh ya.. he makes you do them D.A.I.L.Y- the worst part?i have to do 6 sets - he says that's what makes you better than the rest - to go above and beyond. Seriously, at this rate, i am eager to see what the next few months hold for me. I'll keep you posted- hey.. maybe a competition will be in the works.. oh my gosh.. could you imagine me in a competition?that Would require a STRICT diet and i dunno about that-

A fun St. Patty's Day it was!!!

Yesterday after the husband came home from work, we dedided to go downtown- i'd heard that they have a parade and family friendly things - we just walked and walked. Apparently, we missed the parade by hours but it was fun to just stroll the town- i think THIS fountain was my FAVORITE! these photos are not photo shopped in ANY way! it was THAT slime green.. there were about 4 fountains all colored green- My Old Dublin Brew shirt- gosh, i miss that coffee shop! Dont mind that stupid thing on my right hip- that's the gaget i've been wearing for a day now for my heart- was having some issues with it, so they are recording it for 24 hours. 3 feet long of wires connected to me is hard to hide!

I wanted to make something a little irish- i made delish potato soup served with fresh green salad, cut up french bread and i saved these little desserts for last! Crushed up oreo on the bottom, green colored cool whip, chocolate pudding and Andes mints on top!

This made me laugh- the husband isnt too much of a sweets eater- seriously, he ate this so fast, i thought he might have inhaled it! i mean.. he finished before BOTH girls!!! He says to me: "babe, me and chocolate pudding are BFFS!"

Then there is lil muffin who has a new trick that she thinks makes her the coolest thing on earth. she puts her hands on either side of her booster and lifts herself up.. and gets THIS face when doing it.

Hope ya'll had a fun day yesterday- No green beer here, although with a 19 month old, i could've used it!!

Popsicles & Naps

Today is gorgeous! Lil muffin and i really just chilled, read a book and hung out on the back porch- we had a popscicle and as i was just making dinner, she used her handy chair that she pushes around to everything and was getting in the junk drawer. i took her down, she followed with the throwing the head back fit.. so i took her to her room for quiet time. As i was multi-tasking and cleaning up, i walked in her room to find her PASSED out in the FUNNIEST way- look at those little lips.. She is yelling at our little Jewel here- she's saying "JEW".. its a love/hate with them. She feeds her treats and jewel follows her around EVERYWHERE!

Chillin at the New Casa

We have been bottled up all week and needed to get out.. ( i'm now sick with a terrible sore throat and body aches- but popped some pills and got ready for the day) with it being in the 80's today we wanted to get some rays! We had NO plan- but as we were leaving out the door, it was brougth to my attention that my precious 19mo muffin broke my sunglasses. First stop, Chick-fil-a, Marshalls and of course Justice for mini me who earned a HUGE treat with her academic achievements. After walking out with a nice amount of clothes, we drove to our new house-

I made sure to take pictures so you could feel like you were there too! We found out today that they will be building a playground to the Right of our house.. YEAH!!! We feel every day like we've made the right decision- now if Tax day could just HURRY UP and come so we can M-O-V-E!!

Starting out for the day- notice Muffin's bangles.. SHE picked them out to color Coordinate! i'm so impressed! also.. notice the shorts? those are from LAST YEAR- and they are STILL too Big! As i walked into Marshalls, i turn around cause she's stopped. HER SHORTS ARE DOWN TO HER ANKLES!! LOL

I was talking to our neighbors, and the listing agent and i hear these sweet little voices- all 3 are in the bonus room calling me!

Somebody's TIRED!!! look at her poor little knee! She fell playing football! yes.. she's my brut.. she was running for it in her wedges and scuffed it. i think i've heard owie about a thousand times in the last 24 hrs!

Our friend BACKED IN to our neighbors car! So when she asked today what church she went to , she knew EXACTLY who he was, laughed and said, :" Tell Jonothan, i say, hey baby!!" How funny is that?!

Uh, sweetie, is he your SLAVE?!

SO i just got back from wal*mart.. had to return the redbox movie ( it was a tommy lee.. something with the word mist in it.. good movie, i just cant remember the title) Mini me and i went to go get the muffin some more yogurt since its her main food group and i noticed that there were 2 gallons of milk place on the floor in front of the milk section. I thought it was odd and saw a man in his late 50's pull up with his cart and pick them up- i figured he would put them back in the fridge- nope.. put them in his cart. In front of me in the yogurt section was this lady that looked like she was thrown together, no pride in herself also in her 50's . She grabs some Dan Actives and puts them on the ground.. WHAT THE HECK! i put two and two together.. dude.. she freakin goes around the store and has her husband pick stuff off the ground like a dog and put it in the cart? How on earth is that efficient?! WALK TOGETHER, YOU CONTROL FREAK?! HOW ABOUT HE LEASHES HER TO THE BACK OF THE CAR ON THE WAY HOME.. SEEMS FAIR TO ME.. mean ol' hag!

Honesty from a toddler-

With Mini Me being so sick the last week, we really havent been out of the house AT - ALL exept 1 time to go walk to the mailbox ( i'm not kidding, i think i'm about to start twitching if i dont get out for my gym time!) Lil Muffin is getting bored as well.. and a toddler that's bored is DANGEROUS! she's been getting into a great amount of trouble-

She looks at me in the afternoon and calls my name ( i'm pretty sure for the millionth time that day) and says : "mommy, i naughty" with the BIGGEST . NAUGHTIEST GRIN EVER! I kept a straight face and said, Are you ?!

Good night.. ya kid., i was thinking it in my head, but looks like ya hit the nail on the head!

Our Cinderella!

On Friday, mini me woke up crying saying that her head hurt. She was laid up on the couch all day- that night i took her into the Dr. and she threw up in the waiting room. ( thank goodness no one was around- she had 19 mo sissy narrating.. ewwwwwwww.. dossssssssss as she tossed her cookies)Dr. tested her for strep and flu and both were negative- he figured it was a secondary virus she got from having flu 2 wks prior, so immune system was down. She continued to be laid up, with a fever and no eating. Saturday came and i was SUPER bummed.

Girl Scouts puts on this Daddy/Daughter dance that's a HUGE deal around here. Full blown dinner, dessert, dancing, photgrapher, the whole shebang! 60 bucks for NON-REFUNDABLE tickets! She wanted to use her flower girl dress she wore in a wedding last year, so we had it cleaned, bought a new bow, shoes, wristlet, and rhinestone head band. She was set- we called all the people we knew just to GIVE her tickets away, to no avail. she started getting a litte energy after a nap, so i put her all together and was super excited that she'd be able to go with her daddy since they'd been planning this for OVER a month!

They got to the dance and she was feeling terrible! she was laying her head on the table after only 20 min- the event was THREE hours long. I told the husband to just stick it out thru the photographer so we could at least have pics!! They did, and then left.. no dinner, no dancing.. uh.. i was HEARTBROKEN!!! so so sad! ....

Sat night, all of Sunday she was S-i-c-k! Thankfully they called off school due to all the snow here - uh.. we had N*O*N*E! but.. i figured it would give her one more day to heal... to no avail. She woke up this morning STILL sick, crying.. and with a temp.

Took her to Dr. this morning.. she has a full blown left ear infection, and a secondary infection-- she's pretty bad. But nothing a little anti-biotics cant fix! they had to give her a shot to give it a jump start- it was BRUTAL! i guess its super thick and very painful cause i about lost my hearing when they gave it to her. The nurse warned me.. she asked if she'd had one before, and mouthed to me : "its baaaaaaaaaaaaaad"-

They dont want her back at school until FRIDAY, so were renting movies the next few days- good ol'd REdbox ;) - Thanks to them, HSM3 is playing right now.

I've FREAKING had IT!

About a month ago, i got some new neighbors next door.. after having it vacant for MONTHS- ... they have a daughter. a teenage one. uh... The first time i saw her, i tried to make conversation, and welcomed her here. SHE .HAS.NOT.SPOKEN.TO.ME.SINCE. She's so rude! i will smile and say hi, she looks away. that just makes me mad.. no respect.!!

Last week, she started hanging out with this boy and his two tag alongs.. they just sit and hang out on the metal stairs outside my bedroom wall. I was taking a afternoon nap and they started running up and down the stairs- they woke me up.. that's like waking a bear from hibernation. i walk out there, look at them and said: "WHO is running up these stairs? I have a baby that's sleeping and my room is right there, could you PLEASE be considerate and not do that? " The oldest boy had eyes the size of gumballs and said : "yes, maam. " i am the type that re-thinks EVERYTHING i say or do after i do it.. i thought.. maybe i wasnt nice enough. So, that night i saw them and walked up to them.. they were probably freaked. i said :" hey guys.. i love that ya'll hang out here, please dont think i dont. i said you guys woke me up and i was just flustered that's all. " I thought it was a NICE gesture on my part. Two days later.. i hear snickering and BANG- they hit the wall directly behind my bedboard.. scared the snot out of me.

Sat.. i walk out to my car.. ITS BEEN EGGED! good lord.. seriously?! RESPECT.. i could strangle them.. but i have no PROOF it was them.. funny how i never had problems until this bratty child moved it. Unfortch, her parents work ALL.THE.TIME which means the brat runs the muck while they're gone.

This morning.. she slams the front door, i 'm not exaggerating.. at least 20 times in 5 min. i'm shaking i'm so mad..

so..i call the office and give them the run-down.. THEY can take care of it.

my question is: " WHERE THE HELL DID RESPECT FOR AUTHORITY GO?! " seriously.. i'd like to tell off each of them and slap them all in the face.. if that was MY kid.. i would ground her for the attitude.

I.COULD .SCREAM! ( and her parents are SO nice.) April 16th cant come fast enough.. but i'm NOT backing down from some junior highers.. BRING IT ON, you little brats..

TOO BAD THE PINK OWL CANT SICK HER POSSE' ON THIS GIRL AND GIVE HER A GOOD SCARE!

UPDATE:

its now 6 pm- i called the office for the door situation. It stopped. THEN, i go to take the dog to the bathroom, like i do every hour and the 5 kids are just hanging out in front of our door since that girl lives next door. i thought her parents were at work, but apparently BOTH home. I go to take dog out again, and there is a shattered glass bottle everyhwere, i call apt office again. A boy cleans it up.. or so i thought.. i just go to take dog out AGAIN and the little **** swept it INTO THE GRASS AT THE END OF THE HALL so my dog and kids can step in it. called the office AGAIN and hopefully should be taken care of.. THESE KIDS ARE GOING TO DRIVE ME TO THE NUTTY HOUSE!!
