Modeling for a Major Childrens store

We have a neighbor who works at a major clothing store out here. She asked the girls one weekend if they would model the clothes in the window on a saturday for an hour. They pulled thru!! ... here's some fun shots of it-

These are the outfits they ended up buying- daddy's a sucker! Look at the little boy to the right. Both girls were SO bored, until lil muffin saw this little boy and lit up like a christmas tree!!!

Snickerdoodle muffins

Many of you know i LOVE baking. Even with my new food lifestyle, i still make all of the guilty pleasure foods, and give them away or let my guinea pigs, er i mean kids taste everything. I have SO many yummy recipes i want to share in the upcoming posts. Today, i found THIS gem of a recipe from Oopsey Daisy. LOVE her blog! These muffins are SUPER easy to make by yourself or with your kids help!!

They are currently in the oven baking and i just KNOW they'll be a huge hit!

I wanted you to enjoy the recipe as well ( brittany, i KNOW you'll try it ;)

Snickerdoodle Muffins


Muffins
2 c. flour
¾ tsp. baking soda
¾ tsp. cream of tartar
¼ tsp. salt
½ c. butter, melted
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla


Topping
1 c. sugar
2 T. cinnamon


Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Either butter a 12-cup muffin tin or use cupcake papers.


Mix the dry ingredients together in a bowl. In another bowl, combine the melted butter, sugar, eggs, milk, and vanilla. Stir until combined. Pour this mixture into the dry ingredients and mix lightly with a fork.


Fill the muffin cups with batter. Top each muffin with the cinnamon/sugar mixture. It can be applied heavily.


Bake 15-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.

Barbie and Kens wedding part 2

Mini me once again seemd to be the life of the party and literally had all the adults watching her dance moves and dying laughing.. Not only a friend of the bride, but a teacher at her school

I'm pretty sure THIS guy may be the father of lil muffin- HELLO! same hair.. lol.. In all seriousness, watch for his face in the media soon. He just made a serious record deal with someone. ( i'll be asking for back child support- bahha)

Barbie and Ken's BIG day!

This was the much anticipated wedding of the year! our friends, and also neighbors tied the knot and it was a gorgeous, southern wedding. LOTS of pictures to follow!!

The Mr. with some of our neighbors, one of them being Daddy D. i call him- he reminds me SO much of my dad!

Some of the housewives of the street- our fave shows are housewives on Bravo, so we've named ourselves housewives of.. and our street name ;)

These two get along so well and are making fun of us girls- the trick is to stick your neck out forward in a picture and you look skinnier.. did you know that? a picture is 2 d and so it always works..

Its a Wrap!!

Another year of school has come and gone!!! We've been so busy, im just NOW able to sit down and feel like i can breathe!!! I'll update all the pictures of what we've been busy doing and ya'll will see why i've been so MIA! I'm happy to report that i too just finished my second math class, with another A. Really i didnt realize it could be done. LOL!

We will miss Mini me's teacher this year.. we've been so blessed to have two of the BEST teachers since we've moved here ( but ours two years ago still holds a special place in my heart as one of my close girlfriends here!!)

cheers to summer vaca, hot humid summer days, swimming pools, and lots of adult drinks!!

Summer time has come!

First stop- HOT-LANTA, baby! Figured we'd go to the zoo with our neighbors and friends ( seriously, HOW are we so lucky to have the best neighbors ever that are like family to us?!)

Mini me got this book from our neighbors mom a few months back- who is a retired teacher. Mini me is obsessed with it and brought it to the zoo, looking up every animal and all the facts on them. i thought that was so cool!
