These are a few of my favorite things~

Its fall!!!! i have a few obsessions right now.. and i wanted to share them with ya'll - FIRST and foremost?! The pumpkin patch wallflowers @ Bath and Body works right now. WOW.. so mad at myself for not buying MORE when they were buy one get one free. Really- when you walk into a room, or a house for that matter, the smells set the mood. Nothing nastier than a STANKY house, ya'll ! The soap - oh yeah.. bought 3 of them and a LEAVES scent.. very clean. Gosh.. it makes me happy

OH, TYLER candles, how i *LOVE* thee- lemme tell you- these suckers are a little spendy but SO worth the while. They last FOREVER, and the smell is strong. The perfect fall scent? CINNABUNS, baby.. smells like fresh homemade cinnamon rolls. You can find these in boutiques.. if not, call Olive Boutique in Salem, Oregon and they'll ship them to you! Tell them Kat sent ya!

Libby's Pumpkin roll- WOWZERS.. straight to the hips DELISH, people!! i cant tell you how super duper EASY this is to make!! really... EASY... i made 2 last week and gave 4 of my neighbors some---
one of the neighbors being the newest family on the block. I met the wife, super cute.. anyways, her husband walks out and my mind starts racing.
Keep in mind, NEVER met the guy before! - me and my fat mouth says: " you know who you look like? Jon Gos*elin.. from the TLC show J*n and K*te plus 8.. UH YA.. whew.. thank God for the pumpkin roll to smooooooth things over. He's cool with me now, LOL!



This store has the little things on the cheap that with some creativity can look like a million bucks.. creativity, people - think OUTSIDE the box, or go blog hopping and get ideas.. that's what i do!




Didnt know what all the fuss was about until i went- its the Costco of crafts and good deals.. it puts michaels to shame. Thank goodness the closest one to me is about an hour away- for the next 5 months that is. Just found out from a little bird, they're comin to our town, baby.... looks like i'll need a job to support this habit.

More Random Halloween decor

I have been so busy lately- i'm so behind on blogging.. forgive me- here's some more halloween decor.

Halloween Already?

It is at my house!!!
i had to decorate on a budget this year- and with this year being the first at the new house, i got to start from scratch, really!!! We live around A TON of trees so i got the idea to find sticks.. ( i'm known for having a love of sticks in my house) Lemme tell you, i looked like a FREAK walking down the street with all these tree limbs. No lie i had a few neighbors laugh at me. Its alright, the porch is pretty and that's all that matters!

I went with what i recently bought..

* i found those awesome crows @ dolla tree- a BUCK! I also found some @ michaels, much bigger, but 8 bucks.. WAYYYYY too much!

* i bought all 3 of those pumpkins @ Michaels for 40% off- i think all three for 20 bucks, give or take a few bucks.

* green skull- it was white, @ Dolla tree that i used spray adhesive and green glitter for

the sticks on the bench wouldnt stay and with all the rain and wind storms we've had, couldnt not have them secure. So, i used a flower pot i had and added loose rock from next to our house to secure it.. its called being resourceful!!! I think between everything, i only spent 28 bucks!!! pretty darn good! i'll be adding some more cob webs- Mini me says i dont decorate scary enough..

One Year ago...

This lil Muffin was still on a binky.. and up until 2 weeks ago she had it.in.her.mouth.all.the.time. Lemme just tell you how much i hated that thing by the end. - You know when someone smokes a cigarette and has it hang out of their lips while they talk? i swear, this child could do that. It was gross.

I wanted to get rid of it- but lets be honest, i had one excuse after another of why it was still with us- it started with the chronic ear infections, then we moved, then we traveled this summer.. but guesss what? i decided i was scared to get rid of it due to her reaction-

COLD TURKEY is how we did it.. honest. I told her that other babies needed them- and that was that.

First night, 3 hrs of screaming. i mean, top of the lungs screaming. This lasted only a few days- i've never looked back.

Would ya look at that pretty little smile!!!!!! This is the face i get to look at now- BINKY FREE!!! ... now onto the potty training.. ughhhh

Bulldog Engagement Celebration

Labor day weekend was super busy for us- we had some friends that had an engagement party- the theme was Georgia Bulldogs- It was at a local golf course- Enjoy the pictures of our little Georgia Cheerleaders!!! *the bride to be!! *

* One of the 4 tables- thought these cakes were SO cute! Monogrammed, of course, cause that's how they do it in the South!! And on the left a birthday cake for the groom to be!*

It has been LONG overdue.. i mean.. LONGGG - after summer trips and school starting, we were able to get the girls into a new dentist. The COOLEST dentist office i've ever been in. Over.THE.TOp... but really, would you expect anything else from me? Sissy went first to show lil muffin that taking pictures of your teeth doesnt hurt-

Lil Muffin kept the thing in her mouth for the pictures UNTIL they took pictures.. SO next time we'll get actual pictures of her teeth ;)
Dental assistant giving them their new toothbrushes and letting them choose their toothpaste to clean their teeth with- on that list, Chocolate and cookie dough were a choice. Boy, were us 80's kids hosed at the dentist !!! what did we have, like THREE choices that included
*Bubble gum
*Cinnamon
*Mint
Seriously, chocolate? good lord, i'd go to get my teeth cleaned like EVERY week!


Once again setting a good example for her sissy!!!
( uh.. lil muffin wasnt so sure of this part, so she got to skip it- i think she may have talked to Grandpa about that.. he HATES the dentist!)

And....... Lil Muffin for her fluoride treatment.. she needed a few helpers for that part- BUT, i will say they told me that they've never seen a child so young so quiet.. they said all the other ones have screamed and freaked out.. something to be said for lil muffin.

And may i say that BOTH girls got an "A" from the Dentist- NO CAVITIES, MY FRIENDS.. NONE!! That means mama & Daddy are doing a good job too!! ( Go me)
