I try so hard to not be an over- bearing mom. I want mini me to do well in school- when it comes to homework, i work with her on it, but i will also let her do it on her own and then check it for mistakes- tonight, she had to do a small report- type thing on someone that was an inspiration to her and make a postage stamp. she wrote a little description below that said:

" The President of the NeWningtid States"- too. freaking. funny!! i *COULD* not stop laughing. Of course, i corrected her, but these are the things that make me love her- she sounded it out and thats ALL that matters!

Mini Me *LOVES* baking so much lately! For the past few months she talks about how she wants to open her own restaurant some day. So, she jumps at ANY opportunity to cook- and does it OH SO WELL! i have trained her so well, she doesnt lick her fingers when she cooks cause she knows those nasty lil germs will get all over the food- do YOU know a 6 year old that's so conscious?! Gosh, i could just eat her she's so cauuuuuuuute!

And Yes, oh yess.. they were SUPER delish- and gone in 2 days!

This Little Muffin loves ANYTHING of sissies!!! BUT- one thing in particular- - her undies! Check it out, she has 4 pairs on, and one in the hand. she KILLS me! At church a few weeks ago, the theme was Pirates- So, we dressed

this little princess up. I *KNOW* MAC cosmetics would be proud of my over.the.top girl who loves posing for a picture- notice her right hand is a hook?! ;)

Last, but NOT least- i took my lil muffin on a Sushi lunch date last week.

she REALLY wanted to use her chop sticks, but gave up and started using her hands-

little side note, wont go to THIS place again- it cost me $35 dollars for the 2 of us! That's so not budget friendly!

Lets Talk Gym Ettiquette!

Ok, Peeps- here's the deal. I'm having some serious issues with some things i've seen at the gym lately. Let me explain. I thought that when i moved here, there would be many obese people living in the South. There is, but there seemed to be MORE in Oregon. I go to the gym in the morning to see the trophy wives, looking PERFECT in their work out duds with their FAKE ASSETS- i think you know what i'm talkin about. Now, in the last few weeks, i've spotted 3 women wearing booty shorts. Before you go and assume their the 20 somethings, uh.. NO.. they are the 30 and 40 somethings!! you know those spandex booty shorts?! I feel they are inappropriate- if you're going to have your butt hang out at the gym, you might as well have your "ASSETS" hanging out too. .. not only does it distract me as girl WISHING i had legs like that, but those poor men trying to mind their own business and work on THEIR bodies.
Point 2- there is nothing i HATE more than a clingy man!! TWO times in the past 3 days i have witnessed men seeming to be a little possisive of their women. First man has drop dead GORGEOUS girl, 90 lbs dripping wet. Every few mn he would walk over to her and put his hand on her almost to say she's mine.. GET A LIFE! you're at a gym! If he was my man, i would run.. you dont need someone THAT insecure. !! Second man i witnessed 2 nights ago- workin out with his woman. They would work on same machine and switch off on reps. In between, they HELD HANDS and KISSED! dude.. seriously- i DO NOT want to see you do that. The gym is a place to build yourself up mentally and physically. A place where you should mind your own business, put on some tunes and get in a ZONE!
If you want your assets to hang out, go to a club- If you want to make out, go SOMEWHERE ELSE! People, you are ADULTS, HAVE SOME TACT!

I havent fully unpacked, which really drives me nuts- i dont know where EVERYTHING of mine is, and i dont feel like rummaging thru boxes in storage, so for Valentines Day, i just Made do and hit up the good ol' dollar tree, which i am obsessed with.. i mean OBSESSED!

My FAV new placemats at Tarjay right now! Silver tumbler leftover from Christmas clearance! half off, and the cupcake plates by Oneida, randomly found them at Ross, 4 of them for 5.99!!

Here's the Love bud vase. The heart lolli's from Tarjay dolla each in dolla section, and the sparly hearts from Dolla tree. They have Red sticks in them, like plant picks, just pulled them off and they are EVERYWHERE in my house!

Dont they look EDIBLE?! Quin thought they were, so gave her one to eat after explaining we dont eat them. The look of discust on her face was PRICELESS and her words were :"dooos!"
