*I've been on Hiatus!!*

I'll bet ya'll thought something was wrong with me, huh?! No.. life's just been busy and i've been tired- there's alot going on here!!

Our house is in closing and we cant wait to start working with our agent here. We've spent hours driving around looking at subdivisions and the one we've found reminds me so much of Bend.. its beautiful!

Saturday Luke and i had date day- We went to lunch, shopped around a little bit, went to a movie (Tropic Thunder- it was TERRIBLE- i hated how they made fun of retarded people and God, and we walked out.. )had lots of laughs.. and decided to look at more houses. Dont get too excited yet, we're saving so wont be getting into one probably for another 6 months. We know that God has a plan for where we'll buy a house and WHAT house we're getting, so i have total peace, and have put all my trust FULLY in him. I'll keep you updated on the house.. and pictures will come when we find which one we're getting.

i've also been very busy planning my BFF Jessie's wedding.. who you saw in a previous post. we've been friends since we were born and this day is long awaited- I thought she would NEVER get married, but thanks to her breakin down and getting on EHarmony, she has met her match and he's quite a catch. ;) The wedding will be in Folly Beach, SC- if ya'll have a second, google it and the beach houses there.. WOW!! absolutely beautiful!

*She better watch where she travels, or she may lose her finger!*

Moving here was quiet the feat- between my mom and i, we had to carry 2 purses, a kid, two car seats, 2 carry ons, a stroller and a port a crib, AND A DOG IN HER CARRIER!!- ( if you only could have seen me on my 2nd day, no makeup or shower trying to stabilize it all in the airport underground shuttle in the ATlanta airport, it was a SIGHT!)needless to say, i've had tight neck and shoulder muscles that have been sending me into daily migrains- luke told me i could get a massage, so this morning i went and had one and thought.. oh, to have one of THESE once a week! fully italian full sevice salon RIGHT NEXT TO MY PLACE! pure HEAVEN!
Little Quin Quin has risen from her nap, so luke and i must go and open a bank account.. i guess its time. (if you all remember i didnt get on Luke's bank account until 3 years after we'd been married.. just never "got around to it") we're not the kind that jump at that stuff i guess.

LORD, HAVE MERCY!!

Yes, that's FIVE girls you see!!! These cute girls are our neighbors- their dad is here for work and they are visting him from across seas. I'm watching them while their parents go on a date.. the twins are lexi's age, and their sissy is 3. I didnt know how it was going to go and i was scared! i've never watched this many kids at once, but if John and Kate can have EIGHT kids, i can easily take care of 5! These girls can E-A-T! they've had;
*Granola bars
*mac 'n' cheese
* 3 bags of popcorn
*cookies
and they SAY they are still hungry, but i'm not feeding them anymore, i'm afraid they will get sick!
We've watched a movie, painted toes, made cookies, and colored. Quin and the 3 year old like to test each other.. but, they've managed to have fun. As for Jewel, she takes the smart way out and hides in her crate, WATCHING everything that goes on.


Now.. as i'm cleaning up, i walk in to the bathroom, and find our first R_O_A_C_H.. i stayed quiet, although i wanted to SCREAM, grabbed the camera of course, for ya'll to see, and squished that little booger.. THOSE SUCKERS ARE FAST !!
I'm freakin out now.. going to the office tomorrow and telling them to spray in my house. Oh gosh, i just itch thinking about it! ( yes, this is Hannah Montana soap)



we've lived here a little over a month, and this is the first roach, so i'm praying it will be a long time until his uncle comes for a visit.. i'll be killin HIM with the same flip flop his nephew died with!

Bigfoot in Georgia?!

So i get this phone call today from Amie telling me that Big foot was caught in Georgia- uh, nope hadnt heard of that one.. have not seen anything on the news about it.. Want to know why? The truth is, the paparazzi has been following me around and finally got a snapshot of me in my birthday suit.. Sorry, folks, no Bigfoot here.. its just Kat!!

***I wanted to send out a HUGE congratulations to my friend Tiffany and her Family on the new little bundle of life that just joined their family! They have been patiently waiting on adopting and just welcomed their little angel into their family. She is absolutely PERFECT and God couldn't have picked a more loving family for that child. Congrats Tiff and Family, i know she now completes your family! When she wants some chocolate covered coffee beans, you tell her to call me, and i'll make it happen ;)***

*Have you ever wondered?*

As i was going to pick up Lex from the bus stop today, this beautiful Indian Woman was dressed in one of those silk get-ups they wear.. have you ever wondered how the heck they keep that ONE piece of fabric wrapped around their bodies and it DOES NOT fall off?! Shoot, if i wore one, i'd be flashin the town with it fallin off all the time!

Also, on our way out of Taco Bell ( shalyse, its our new fav place and everytime i think of you and your Bean burritos), there are these two fine examples of our 20 somethings today.. ok.. not.. but each of them was smoking, and as we walk out, of course my outspoken 6 year old YELLS:" PEWWWWW! smells like smoke out here!" oh, Lordie.. i mean.. ya, it was really bad, but did she HAVE to say it out loud right in front of them. I had glanced at the woman that was smoking and found her shirt amusing.. it said something about conserving Energy, or some kind of save the earth type thing and i thought to myself.. how about you do YOUR part to save the earth by NOT smoking.. SO funny, but isnt that how we all are?! so quick to judge, yet we all have our flaws and are so hypocritical!

The tooth **Fairy** came last night..

Hop skippers came home from school yesterday saying that her tooth had been bleeding. She's overdramatic- i cant figure out WHERE that came from, and so i blew it off. She had her Friends, the twins ( who are visiting their daddy from England) over last night, and she started fussing with that dang tooth again- i look at it and its like twisted the WRONG way - she left the room again and came back screaming.. " i lost another tooth, first one to lose in Georgia!" So.. Thank goodness the tooth fairy had gotten a few extra golden coins at the bank in Oregon, so one made it under her pillow last night. God forbid she ever go thru the coin section of my wallet, or i might be found out!!

Tonight, i went and bought 2 dresses at this place called Strasbury Children- not a place i would usually shop for the girls.. too classy for me ;) But, my BFF jessie, who i just did a post on, JUST got engaged.. while she's in the bahamas for the week, i'm planning her wedding and found these AMAZING dresses that would be perfect for a flower girl,beach wedding, so bought them.Shoot, hope she likes them, cause i dont get cash back.. On our way home, i decided to make a little call to Pizza hut and have them make dinner tonight.. So, pizza it was. Now, let me let you in on a secret.. when Lex was a baby, she always ate, so we called her Buddha cause her belly was so big.. our little Muffin Quin OUT EATS lex! she ate TWO pieces of pizza tonight, and then GRABBED MINE OUT OF MY HAND TO EAT THAT TOO!! apparently she didnt think me or my thighs needed the extra calories... Thanks for the subtle hint, Quin... ( this is her little face while eating.. So innocent she looks, but dont be fooled!)

Wanted to give a shout out, "Hootie Hoo" to Carrie for the awesome birthday present for Quin-- she's stylin in her juicy.. you have to keep your reputation of being the juicy gift giver.. EVERY piece of juicy in this house is from you!! GRACIAS, Blondie!! And those bath toys.. HER fav, strung out all over the house and about half in the bath tonight.. ;)

Lex got home awhile ago and i've already taken pictures and downloaded.. NO.. i'm not a slacker mom, Quin was in a nap, so that's why they are downloaded. Now, the girls have Hannah Montana blaring in their room and are dancing everywhere.. its super cute and i'd post a video but blogger doesnt let me download my videos.. Boo on them.. i'm sure i'm just blonde and am doing something wrong. i'm sitting at lex desk in her room.. ( she's set up the camera and is recording herself dancing.. PRICELESS!)

i got some cute pictures of her getting off the bus, etc.. BUT she had a nametag on, and i'm not all about the psychos trackin us down, so for our saftey, new pictures were taken.

I found this little craft in her bag-- she explained that she did this AFter they do the pledge of allegiance, which by the way they do daily here- Another reason YOU would want to move here! (ok, she's now watching the video of herself she just made.. )

.. oh goodness.. the dog has just confiscated the rice cake the baby was just eating for snack.. at least i have THE DOG as a vacuum since the other one is in ATLANTA! -- found a dyson on sale for 399, should i buy it?!

OK, me and my summer cold (poo on summer sickness!) are signin off- --
